Found my Soap Box again !!! Yes I'm still here and here's something to think about My sisters and I together with our parents went on a fishing trip this summer and had a wonderful time spending time at a beautiful lake just a few hours north of us. It was so peaceful and relaxing. This fresh clean air and water are something we sure take for granted.
As we all know, we are all being exposed to chemicals in everything we do and eat. We are the guinea pigs and will pay the consequences for releasing thousands of man-made chemicals into the enviroment. Many of these chemicals have useful functions, but the potential for unwelcome, unintended results is increasingly worrisome.A recent Associated Press reported on abnormal " intersex" fish. Fish with both male and female characteristics have been discovered in the Potomac River near the U.S. capital. According to a fish pathologist, testing in the river system shows that more than 80 per cent of the male smallmouth bass examined were growing eggs, something only females normally do.They say the source of the problem is not known. But go on to say that the results suggest a problem with so-called "endocrine disrupters," which can tamper with natural chemical-hormonal signals. In the past years hormone-mimicking pollutants have raised alarms around the world as alligators, frogs, polar bears and other animals have developed gender-bending adnormalities. Scientists have identified a large number of pollutants that could be to blame include human estrogen from processed sewage ( coming from women taking birth control and hormone replacement medication) , animal estrogen from farm manure, certain pesticides and soap additives. These chemicals enter our waterways and do make there way into our drinking water.
What price are we going to make the future generations pay?

I was wondering if you'd add anything again! That's kinda scary, I hope the water doesn't start producing intersex people! Any ideas what we can do?

Hi Jennifer
I think a great way to detoxify our system is with chlorophyll. It detoxifies and rebuilds. Nature's Sunshine has a great product called Enviro-Detox. Also the Master G is an excellent source of natural endocrine balancing herbs.
These are not man-made hormones but rather helps the body product what it is suppose to do naturally.
It's great for PMS or menopause or a women who is pregnant or thinking about it. Even a simple thing like taking a 1-3 day fast is very cleansing.
